Medical Center builds on Styrodur®
On the construction site of the BASF Medical Center, Styrodur® is being used for the floor insulation. The new building will replace the outpatient clinic in the future.
For the two-storey rescue station, Styrodur® 3000 CS is being used as a particularly pressure-resistant floor insulation. Its material properties such as compressive strength, low water absorption and non-rotting properties make Styrodur® the right product for the perimeter insulation of the new building. The actual installation was followed by the concreting of the insulation panels. Next to the rescue station, the six-storey main building will be built between Gate 5 and Gate 11. The Medical Centre will include examination rooms, training rooms and offices as well as medical diagnostic facilities for staff. The ambulance service will also be housed there. Completion is scheduled for mid-2023.
